Members of the Family Association receive theÌýUniversity of Tampa Journal, the full-color alumni magazine published three times a year.

Families are invited to support and share in the Âé¶¹Çø experience through:

Family Association Board of Directors

°Õ³ó±ðÌýleadership groupÌýof the Family Association is an exclusive group of parents and family members who are provided the opportunity to become involved with the university and participate in a meaningful way in the educational experience of our students. The Board is a small group of Âé¶¹Çø parents who facilitate the advancement of the University by serving as ambassadors, providing feedback on our activities and communications, and providing philanthropic support.ÌýMembers come from various backgrounds and regions and can serve for the duration of their student's enrollment at Âé¶¹Çø. The chair of theÌýFamily Association BoardÌýserves as the parent representative on the Âé¶¹Çø Board of Trustees. Âé¶¹Çø Assistance

The University of Tampa's admissions staff will cross the country this year to recruit the next incoming class. If interested in helping with college fairs or recruiting efforts, pleaseÌýcontactÌýÂé¶¹Çø admissions atÌý(888) MINARET orÌýadmissions@ut.edu.

Career Networking

Parents can play a major role in students' career development by offering internship or shadowing opportunities and urging recruiters to recruit at Âé¶¹Çø. Parents can contactÌýCareer ServicesÌýfor assistance or can become an e-mentor throughÌýHandshake.

Fall Weekend

Every October, more than 2,000 family members visit Âé¶¹Çø forÌýFall Weekend. Administrators and students serve on the planning and welcoming committees. Participation from parents is encouraged.

Parent and Family Fund

Tuition alone doesn't cover the cost of educating each Âé¶¹Çø student. Gifts made to theÌýParent and Family FundÌýsupport student scholarships, maintain the beauty of Âé¶¹Çø's campus, and keep Âé¶¹Çø at the forefront of technology.

Graduate Programs

Âé¶¹Çø offers accelerated graduate programs, including some with guaranteed admission, for current students and alumni.ÌýParents encouraging students to further their studies in graduate programs can learn more about this path throughÌýÂé¶¹Çø2Âé¶¹Çø.
